I work for the Fall River Police Dept and there is a D&D next door at 657 Pleasant St. My coworkers and I frequent this business numerous times a day. Recently, I'm guessing because of a change in staff, service has been below average. The drive up is extremely slow, as they only take one customer at a time. Usually I am on my way to work and in a hurry and this is an inconvenience. Putting this aside, I made my usual stop today before work. As the clerk went to hand me my "mocha" ice coffee she spilled it. It splattered on my shirt, my "white" pants, into my pocketbook and in (and out) of my vehicle. Though the girl was extremely apologetic, I had to inquire about getting the coffee for no charge. After she "checked" with a coworker about returning my money (???) she handed me back the change. I had to ask for the coffee because they forgot to give me another one, and then I was handed a coffee with the same styro cup dripping of mocha coffee. Now I am at work with stains on my pants and shirt and have to clean out my purse to rinse things off. Am I out of line thinking that I deserved a bit more than the free coffee that I had to "ask" for?
