Springfield Crossing
Timberland Partners failure to remedy AC issue, not honoring lease contract, claiming I owe them money after moving out

Shops, Products, Services

After living at this apartment complex for 15 months and having to continually request repair and replacement of a faulty AC unit, I moved out early. I sent them the TAA lease's required two written notices and then the final written notice terminating my lease according to the TAA lease provisions. They refuse to admit that I was within my rights to terminate my lease and continue to expect payment.

They say they repaired my unit after each request but that they cannot guarantee that something will stay fixed. However, if something needs to be repaired eleven times, especially within days or weeks of the previous repair, one would think they could figure out that repairs are not enough and it actually needs replaced.

On several occasions my requests were either ignored or forgotten until several days later and I had to pass those days in an apartment without AC in 100 degree weather.
