Deducted monthly payments from bank account for service that was not activated

In July of this year, I contacted AT&T for home phone service. I was told that a CD would be sent to my home and that upon its arrival I should call back and my phone service would be activated. I did not realize that the home that I had just move into did not have a telephone line and was therefore unable to use the CD to activate my service. Nevertheless, AT&T took $22.95 a month out of my banking account for 4 consecutive months. I called them to explain that they were charging me for a service that had not been activated and I spent 2.5 hours on the phone. The end result was that they could only reimburse one month. I exclaimed that this was not acceptable and was put on hold while the person to whom I was speaking went to inquire about how much of my money would be reimbursed. The final result was that I would be paid back 3 months and it would be deposited into my account the same day. Needless to say, 3 days later and no money has been deposited back into my account.

I called back today, spent 1 hour talking to 7 different people and finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Her name is Katrina and her ID number is PS 3625. She was extremely rude and argumentative and frankly, I am flabbergasted by this costumer service. She told me that I would get 3 payments reimbursed and there was nothing that I could do about it. My problem with this is that I do not want to pay AT&T a penny of my very hard earned money, especially when no service has been provided. I feel that they should pay back all of the money taken from my account and they should pay a fee for the time that they have had my money, much the same way as they milk people for fees. I have not been reimbursed and really don't expect to be. AT&T is, in my opinion, a disgraceful company that has gotten away with ripping people off for years.
