Ripoff Fraudulent practices, Theft, No Customer Service

Contracted moving company for three (3) men to move 10 pieces of furniture (all pieces were ready and waiting at my front door). They removed the legs from my sofa (why?) and did not cover my $1000 mattresses. They dragged my mattresses across the ground. At the 2-hr mark, I told the main guy that I needed them to get this done within 3 hours as agreed. He then threatened me by getting in my face and yelling at me that if I didn't pay them for 5 hours upfront they wouldn't deliver my furniture (I am female and was alone). So I gave them the credit card #.

While they were delivering the furniture to the other location, I asked them where my sofa legs were. They said they left them at the previous home. When I went back to get them, they were nowhere to be found. They refused to look in their truck to check for the legs when I asked them to do so.

I called and asked to speak with the manager on 6 different occasions. Each time, they said she was not in. She never returned my calls. So now I have a sofa with no legs and paid over the amount I should have. I tried to dispute with my credit card company and they said since it was a "service", I could not dispute. This is outrageous that consumers have no recourse, and now I've heard this sort of thing happens all the time. I guess I should have called the police on the guy who was in my face threatening me.
