John Cobb Substandard Roofing Work

I have several complaints regarding this roofing contractor. We had a severe hail storm in my area and my house was damaged. I contracted with Watertight Roofing and paid them a substantial amount of money from my insurance company.

The two most important problems are: The roof leaks around the chimney and the metal trim they replaced is horrible, especially at the corners. These problems would have ruined my house if I had not noticed. Additionally, the contractor did not explain the different types of shingles, only what brand they were using.

If I had known there were up-grades in that brand I would have went for the better shingle. I informed John Cobb and his partner, Mike of the problems and they said they would come back and fix them but they didn't.in addition, there was garbage left from his men I assumed they would pick it up when they completed the job.

The most galling of it all was that they were next door putting a new roof on my neighbor's house while I was waiting for my work to be fixed and the job completed. Now I have to go out and hire a contractor to fix the leak and the metal trim.
