Double ticket order costs $144 with no refund offered

My wife accidentally received double the amount of tickets for a D-12 concert for our daughter, which is in Buffalo, NY on May 2. The first time she entered her credit card data it said "internal error" and it would not work. She tried again later and it did work. We found that the first attempt, the one with the error message, had actually still gone through. So we got 10 tickets instead of 5, which cost her an additional $144, which is a big enough waste as it is.

The worst part was calling the Ticketmaster number and having to wade through 15 minutes of Spanish prompts, and then being told, sorry, you are out of luck. No refund, and they advise the buyer to sell the extra tickets as best you can. Ticketmaster is a disgusting rip-off, and they have a monopoly on this business. I suggest that everyone buy their tickets through some other means. I will never give them another penny for another concert.
