Paid $165 for Steely Dan concert tickets nobody checked

I bought tickets to a Steely Dan concert and spent $165.00. I also paid $14.95 for shipping and handling through UPS Next Day, which arrived two days later. When I arrived at the concert, there was nobody there to accept the tickets for entry. Everyone was able to just walk in and sit wherever they wanted. I was really upset that I wasted so much money, especially since the concert was outdoors and free to anyone there.
