LDS Travel
Voyager Travel Terrible Travel Agent cost us nearly $900

Shops, Products, Services

In August I paid LDS Travel in full for a cruise that was to sail in June. After months of terrible communication lapses, LDS Travel sent us our airline tickets less than 2 weeks in advance. When we received them we found that LDS Travel had not read the passport information that they required us to fax them. They had booked on of the flights under the wrong name.

The first lay-over they planned was not a sufficient amount of time for us to get from one flight to the next. We missed the flight and had to try to catch up all along the way. (We are not slow walkers and we ran most of the way between terminals.) Because of the error in name on the the airline ticket we missed the flight out of Frankfurt that was to take us to Norway to board the cruise ship.

We were forced to fly to France, stay there 2 nights, and wait for the ship to arrive at the nearest port 2 hours away. We incurred the expenses of hotel, travel, and food for those 2 days. The real rub is that we had already paid for those things on the cruise ship that we were not on!!!
We have contacted LDS Travel several times, usually with no response. They have failed to fix their mistakes.

Free cruise and airfare was offered but when they sent us our travel arrangements the cruise was not free, and it did in fact cost more than the cruise cost listed on the cruise line web site. I on't
