Ditto, I cancelled my membership a few months back. They provide no verification of coarse. That in itself should make one suspicious. I assumed it went through because I could no longer send emails to toher members so I considerered the matter finished.

Today I noticed I was being billed again and sure enough they had renabled the account because I could now send email. I sent them a letter and now I am sure it will cost me 5 hours of my time to get that $20 back.

I would like to suggest and that everyone reconsider using one time credit card numbers such as those provided by PayPal although I can't say a whole lot of good about that company (owned by Ebay) either.
