1) They advertise your "New Matches" using profiles that are years old and NOT ACTIVE MEMBERS.

2) They advertise that you can email these people just by joining BUT, even if YOU join, the RECIPIENT WILL NOT RECEIVE THE EMAIL UNLESS THEY PAY TOO.

That's right - your email that YOU paid for GOES NOWHERE.

3) There's NO INDICATION on the site to see who IS or IS NOT a member.

American Singles is a SCAM pure and simple.
