South jersey gas company they let my daughter put her gas bill in my name, without asking for identification or a lease in my name

As soon as I found out that my daughter had put her gas bill in my name, I called the gas company and notified them that the gas was on in my name and I didnt authorize it nor did I know about it. They advised me that because it was the winter time, I had to notify her landlord. I did this. His name is Tony Colossi 856-5347387. Then I called the gas company to have them shut it off. I told them to send the final bill to my house, as she used to get her bills mailed here, and I would give them to her. She told me at the time, that she was going to pay the bill off with her income tax money. Needless to say I was very angry with her, but since she promised to pay it off, I wasnt too worried. Of coarse she lied to me and told me she paid the bill off. Not until about 2months later, did I know that she hadn't paid the bill. I contacted South Jersey Gas company. Customer service dept and gave them her information, and told them that I never lived there, that she did not have my permission to use my name. I did offer to help her with the deposit, if I could. She told me that she didnt need my help at all. Not so nicely did she say it. The gas company advised me to press charges against her. I went down to the police station and filed a report, insisting I didnt want to press charges against her. I sent the copy of the police report, along with a letter from my landlord where I live and have been living for 4 years. The person at customer service said that if I could provide all her information, name address phone number and social security number that they would take care of this situation. I gave them all the info and now they say, they wont get in the middle of my daughter and I. If they did their job right and asked for an ID, they would have known she wasnt me and this would not have happened. Now the bill has gone to collections, she has called and made payment arrangements. Which of coarse she didnt pay every two weeks, she has make some payments, from her bank account over the phone. Yet they still are trying to get the money also. I wish I had the money for a lawyer as this has made me have epileptic seizures, and I am at my wits end. Where I live, is not safe. I want to move but cant because now I have this bill hanging over my head. I also need to have gas turned on, and of coarse I can;t do that because of what she has done. The police never got in touch with her. It just goes on and on. It is a horrendous situation!!!
