I sought out Daher & Associates as I knew a girl that had gotten a job through them. After 9 years in the business and reaching the pinnacle in my agency, I was looking for career advancement. I knew that this would involve a commute and spoke to Liz about minimum salary requirements that would make the move sensible. She assured me it wouldbe no problem to get a job offer in that range and set up an interview that day. The interview went well and the interviewer offered me $5K less than I had been currently making. I thanked him for his offer and time and explained that while I appreciated that salary was not always the deciding factor, in this scenario it played an important role as Iwas needing a salary increase and was adding the expense of a commute to take a job in Houston. He understood and said he would get back to Liz about a higher number as he was very interested. I spoke to Liz and she asked if I wanted to accept the job. I explained the issue with salary and she said not to worry that it would be fine and she was sure they'd meet my request. She offered to set up more interviews in the meantime and get back to me. I heard from her once more asking if I wanted to accept the job offer and I asked if they'd changed the salary and she said, "No." I reiterated my point about needing a higher salary and she said she understood and had several other places that were interested.

Several weeks later, another person from the office called back and said, "Hi! I'm just touching base and we hadn't heard from you in a while so I wanted to see if you were still looking." I explained that in fact I was waiting for THEM to call me back but had since went with two other headhunters and had 2 job offers I was considering. That was 3 years ago and I still get calls from them every 6 months. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
