MCI Wireless Promised a choice of program all lies

On Nov. 24th I was contacted by a MCI Wireless employee & agreed to them sending me a cell phone with the understanding, which was suppose to be being taped. (they also failed to mention the $25. Activation fee until we were hanging up & she had been on the line for 45 minutes) That I did not want the $49.99 pkg. Which was the promotion she was pushing. I wanted to "checkout ONLY" the $19.99 package.

She assured me there would be 4 differnent packages in different prices starting aat $19.99 on up. We recieved the phone on Nov. 30th. NO other packages were included, only the contract for the $49.99. I have tried for over a week to get ahold of them. All operators are busy & the mailbox is full try later.

I got thru to the mailbox once on Dec. 5th & left our home phone #. No one has returned our call. I even had the regular MCI Co. That we have for local & long distance to try their #. They didn't get into the mailbox either. But said since I had left a message once, that she's was sure they'd return my call. NOT!
I did however get a letter saying we would recieve our 1st bill soon.

I am not paying for this, & have not activated the phone. It is still in the box. UPS took the carton it was shipped in so there is no return address or box for which MCI said IF we didn't like it, within a week we could send it back postage paid.

I will not pay, But I also do not want to be hounded by a collection agency for something I have not signed a contract on. Please advise if possible.

We already have ATT wireless for $39. A month, that we don not use unless a car breaks down. We wanted just the cheapest plan available.
