Savings and Recovery LLC
Scam

Shops, Products, Services

I experienced the same issues as the previous complaints. Their rep comes by and promises to save you thousands in future utility costs by auditing past bills. They require an upfront deposit. They promise to refund the deposit if they are unable to reduce your future utility expenses. Sent them all the documents they requested. Later they claimed I broke the contract by not submitting correct documentation. If you don't send them within a certain time frame, they claim that you have now broken the "contract" which enables them to STEAL your deposit. I called them several times and got nowhere. The "contract" that I signed does not even look like a contract; not many details and fine print. Where they get you is that on the back of the page, they state that if your account becomes "inactive" for a certain period of time then you may lose your retainer fee.

When they signed me up they bragged about how they have not complaints on the BBB sites. I actually looked it up and there were no complaints. That is why I signed on and got scammed.
