Rip off!

When I called I talked to Alicia. We were moving and we wanted someone to come out and give us a personal estimate. Alicia told us that they do not come out for personal estimates for such a small # of rooms such as a one bdroom. She guaranteed that based on the list of items I described (as I was repeating some of the items 2x) that it won't be more then 1800 lbs and that it was $1200. It was a reasonable quote so we stopped looking and unfortunately we did not check these reviews. On the day of the move, they came to pick up the furniture the moving crew told us there is $600additional fee for their services. After paying now $1600 they called us later and told us that the bill now is close to $3600 because our furniture was too heavy (one bedroom set a table with 4 chairs and a coach with a coffee table). My sister moved a few months back and she was moving 3x the distance and 3 bedrooms and her quote was $3000 and it was 5000 lbs. I could not imagine our 1 bedroom was 4000 lbs and the new quote was $ 3600.

When i talked to isaak (the supervisor) and asked him how come there is such a big difference between the initial quote and the actual amount, his responce was that alicia was trying to be nice!!!

Don't use this company! I wished that I read these reviews earlier. These arescam artists!!! They will quote you one quote and then triple it!!!
