Lied non-binding quotes held furniture hostage

Listening to a nice voice on the other side of the phone cost me $7480.00. I moved just six months earlier to AZ from FL. Job didnt work out so we were moving back to the east coast. Just moving six months earlier and doing my homework on getting moving quotes I felt pretty good on the quote I accepted. Even though I sold two full rooms of furniture the quote was with in a $100 of moving out to AZ. I felt with Gas Prices going up it made sense.

I wasnt in AZ when Pick UP And Move came to pick furniture up. The person I left at my house called and said they have loaded your furniture but your quote was off by $5000. The moving company was closed because it was after business hours. I called the next day and asked how in the world can we be off by $5000 and they said you have more items than we accounted for. I filled out a itemized sheet of furniture for each room and even added extra boxes so it would already be alittle higher. Not much I could do but accept it they had my furniture. I spoke with manager whom I think also it part owner and he said he would look in to the pricing.

After 30 days I wasnt sure if we were moving to NC or SC and called to tell them, they said no problem we will charge you $700 for storage. Not happy with this so I called the manager/owner again and he said he would look into it. I never heard back from him until I gave them the address I was moving to and his answer was nothing I can do and by the way it wasnt $700 it was $2980.50 they charged me. Sent me a invoice telling me to have balance in cash or cashiers check or they wouldnt unload furniture. Twenty two days later my furniture shows up damaged (not all of it) with people they picked up of the side of the road. No background check I have two year old twins no history or knowledge of these workers. So when the moving company goes back to AZ the two workers stay here in SC, not a good feeling. Now they want me to file a claim for the damaged furniture, I wonder how much this is going to cost me.
