ANI Magazines
SCAM, door-to-door sales

Shops, Products, Services

Two guys went down our street selling magazine subscriptions door to door. An older black guy and younger black teenager. The teenager gave the sob story that he was trying work hard and honestly to make something of himself. Said he was from Cleveland and traveling around doing the magazine sales to earn money. The paperwork looked legit but I wish I would have done a quick internet search to confirm. He explained the higher price of the subscription was because of the commission he earns blah, blah, blah. Paperwork said it takes 120 days to receive first issue... 5 months later still no magazines. I called the phone number on the receipt and it was disconnected. The website looks like a joke. I didn't want or need any magazines, I thought I was just helping someone. Very disappointing that these young people are trained to lie, cheat, and steal. If any one makes any progress on contacting them or finds who the company/website is registered to, please share. We should sue them for our money back. I don't think they're sophisticated enough to hide.
