I have been a customer of Scana for almost a decade now. My service has been disconnected TWICE in less than a month! The first time I didn't complain because it was my fault for not paying on time. I accept full responsibility, and even though I was disappointed to have to wait an entire week for reconnection, I waited in silence. My silence came to a halt when my service was disconnected AGAIN! They have my money.

I paid the balance in full and when I ask if there's any way at all the service can be reconnected (again) I am told they cannot work with me at all. I am a single mother of three children, and we need gas services and hot water. This is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is awful, and every time I call and ask for a supervisor, I am placed on eternal hold.

I spoke to them 4 times today alone, and plan on calling every day until I speak to someone whose concerns are higher than that of an employee who obviously does nothing except take phone calls all day long and take great pleasure in being combative. I filed my first complaint ever with the BBB a few minutes ago, then I found this website. I've never done anything like this before, but I see no other way to try and get their attention, and no other way of being able to let others know how awful this company is. Oh, and by the way, they have a "100% satisfaction guarantee". So much for that.
