Ripoff gas company gone mad

I am a consumer of Scana gas energy, I paid scana 200.00 on 1/26/06 then recived another bill for 245.00 due 2/20/07 not to mention 44.74 for coming out to read the meter, 15.44 state and local taxes, 6.95 for customer service (you get billed for this regardless if you call them or not) and let's not forget the 10.00 late fee if
you don't pay on time. So basically I'am to pay and extra 70.18 in charges not related to gas. I was also told I'am being charged a variable rate so basically one month my therm can be 1.279000 and the next month 3.0279000 the therm can double and tripple depending on what they feel like doing. As a single mother of 4 I can no longer afford to be held hostage by the gas company and will now heat my water on the stove to bath
myself and family. This is a national disgrace. What is being done with these terrorist utilitily companies in Georgia.
