LIES, LIES, LIES, damaged my goods, delivered when I was out of town!

American Van Lines totally ripped me off. They quoted me 3-14 days. They arrived 21 days later when I was out of town despite me telling them I would be gone then.

They did not have the proper equipment to move a piano and did not blanket wrap it as promised. They did not have a lift tailgate as promised. The piano was severely damaged and they are denying the damage.

They did not have my mom (at origin) sign the inventory sheet and they wrote that all my furniture was scratched. This is completely false and they must just do this to cover themselves.

The delivery driver wrote that the piano was damaged but put it in the same area as the pick-up notes and so now they are telling me that the pickup drivers wrote it. It is in completely different hand writing and they are lying to my insurance company.

My friends had to accept the delivery so they didn't notice that the piano keys were chipped when the bookholder fell off. They also didn't notice that the cord was completely mutilated in the process.

A corner hutch unit also had two extra pieces of wood that were to be re-attached and they lost them!

The company never calls you back, they lie to you when you do finally get a hold of them and they never ever will say that the customer is right.

This was the worst nightmare ever! Do not use them!
