Ripoff fraudulent billing withheld day rates until lawsuit was filled helped themselves to 80% of my earnings Los Angeles Miami

I was represented by Next Model Management for 7 months.in that time I was rarely paid. My average day rate was $500 of which I was lucky if I received $100.
My bookers were based in Los Angeles, and every time I complained that I had not received my check they referred me to the NY office. I made so many calls, and was determined to get my money. None of my phone calls were ever returned.

Eventually, fed up of not being able to pay my rent and bills I left the agency and filled a small claim.
It was only then that they decided to talk to me, asking that I cancel the court date and they would pay my money.
Nievly I cancelled the suit and within 1 week I received a check for half the amount that they owed. To make up the numbers they had added onto my statement charges for couriers, faxes and telephone calls [all way over average of what I would normally pay] I had never previously been billed for faxes and telephone calls.

This agency preys on young nieve girls. They don't expect them to be aware of their accounting, and when questioned they either ignore it or make out there is a problem with the way the girl works and asks her to leave [this has happened to others I have worked with]
To top it off they lost my portfolio and denied they had ever had it [if they had never had it how comes I had incured courier fees] My portfolio turned up 6 months later when I was called by a production office who had had my book for ages!
