Scamming, false promises, sleazy, wanted $2000 for portfolio Victoria

I was waiting in KFC on Swanston St when I was approached with a handshake by a man in a suit and given a business card for "Paul Roberts International Modelling Agency". I laughed it off with my friends, "ME? A model?"

Several months later, I came across his business card in my drawer and decided that I may as well give him a ring, what's the worst that could happen? I was asked to come for an interview that same day but I was unable to, so the interview was arranged for the following day (not too busy at the office it seems!)

I turned up and had to wait in the foyer for about 20 minutes. When he finally came down the lift, he made me and the other girl there for an interview (she was 22, short, quite overweight and had her mum with her) to fill out our details on a form and read a magazine article about him and his company.

The first half of the interview was him bragging on and on about all the work his models have been doing, showing us pictures and magazine articles. He went on to say how he doesn't take on girls that have done stripping as his agency was all about class. His office walls were covered in pictures of half naked girls in bathing suits.

He then bombarded both of us girls with questions about what leadership experience we have and why do we want to model. He quickly ended the interview with the other girl and kept me a bit longer coz he thought I had "potential" whereas the other girl didn't.

He asked me to call later that night on his mobile to discuss building my portfolio. It would cost $2000 for two photoshoots, the first being in two days. I agreed, not knowing any better.

I didn't turn up to the photoshoot. He sent me an abusive text message complete with 'text talk' later that night stating how much I had disappointed him.

Several months later I received an email with a link to "one of his models in a campaign" begging for me to come into his office.
