American National sells subscriptions to helpfull people and its a SCAM!

A young man came to the door asking for help to go to school. He was selling magazine subscriptions and I ordered one from him. After not receiveing anything, I called the number on the receipt and they offered the refund and the magazine subscription. Neither one occurred. I then called again, and was offered the same thing again and of course, nothing occurred again. The number has been disconnected since then. I have the customer copy of the receipt and the cancelled check. This is a scam and needs to be stopped. Not just are they taking peoples money but it makes people hesitant to help others who are in needed and running honest businesses.
