Marquis Fulfillment Agency LLC Magazine Subscription Sales Scam

Today a young man came to my door said that he lived in the neighborhood and told me that he was selling magazine subscriptions for his soccer team so they could go to a national soccer tournament. I could either order the subscriptions for me or donate it to St. Judes or to people in the military. He said that I could get 6 subscriptions for children at St. Judes for $53. I am not sure why I believed him, but I did. I wrote my check to donate the magazines, took the receipt and then immediately went online to see something about this company. The only thing that popped up was that it was a scam. I called my bank, stopped my check (even with the fee), and decided to write this report in hopes that these people can be stopped. As my son and I drove to the beach, we saw a police officer parked by the side of the road. I gave him a description of the young man and what had happened. I doubt they will find him or whoever he works with to get them out of here, but I can hope.
