Lied about $25 gift certificate Omaha NE

This company called me at home. They offer you a $25 gift certificate and say it will be mailed to you with your package. They tell you the membership is a free trial for 30 days. I said what the heck and accepted.

What they don't tell you is the gift certificate is something you have to mail back in. It will take 4-6 weeks for the cert to arrive and you have to be a member when you use it. So the free trial membership just became not free.

Also, the deal with this company is they tell you you will get 20% off at major stores, but you have to purchase these gift certificates through them ahead of time. I'm assuming these take 4-6 weeks to arrive also. They go on your credit card and there is a limit to how many of them you can use for each store.

Better luck than I had. I believe they lied to me up front and I don't do business with companies that lie to me.
