Simple Escapes
Ripoff! False advertising! Broken promises!

Miscellaneous

I joined Simple Escapes and was told that I would recieve a $25.00 gift certificate for joining the company and I would also recieve a $25.00 gift certificate for joining Cashfiesta. A company they were backing.

As of 3 months ago I did not even recieve any information on how the company was run. Nothing came in the mail that they said would.

I called after 3 months and told them that I did not recieve any information about the company. The lady told me that she would send me information packet that I needed and I would recieve the infomation in 7 to 10 days.

I recieved the packet but it did not contain the $25.00 gift certificate or any way to get it. I did not recieve the $25.00 gift certificate for Cashfiesta that I was promissed.

I called them and told them that I did not recieve the gift certificates and they said that they would have to send me another packet. Someone didn't pack the envelop right I was told.

When I first joined they told me I had a money back guarantee. They said they would pay me back for all monthly charges if I was not satisfied. I could not be satisfied for something I knew nothing about.

For 3 months I had nothing that they said I would have. I was supposed to have a free years subscription to a magazine. I have not heard anything about that either.

They advertise that you can get gift certificates for department stores that are not around where anyone lives.

I called them back and told them that I did not get anything in the packet again and told them I wanted to cancel my membership because of not being able to learn anything about the company. The only money they would give me is 1 months membership fee of $14.95.

I was told that I could keep the gift certificates even if I decided to drop my membership. I am not going to get them or the other 2 months membership fees or the magazine subscription.in fact it has cost me more than I ever recieved from them.

This membership was to be the greatest discount business. It is to give you discounts for hotel stays, for food and resturants, for theme parks that are only in different ends of the country. These are only good for travel.

They misrepresented themselves by not getting the information to me in an appropiate amount of time. They did not live up to their advertisment of getting you anything in a small amount of time. I had no way of knowing how this membership worked. It was almost like they did not want me to know the different things I could do until I gave them enough membership fees to pay for the certificates.

Cashfiesta sounds like a pyrmid sceme. There is no charge to join but you have to leave your computer on all the time. I never got any of this information either.
