I modify law charged me 2500.00 for a loan modification that was never done, now my house is in foreclosie

I was contacted via the internet about mortgage modifications and talked with a woman by the name of sarah st john, she explained how she could help me with all the nessesary things to get my modification done and help save my home. I paid her 2500.00 for legal fees to get this done and after 3 months i was told by my mortgage company that they never received anything from that company nor ever heard of her, now my home is going into foreclosier unless i come up with a ton of money, i finally got ahold of her yesterday and she insisted that everything was good and my mortgage company just didn, t scan the documents in yet but she told me two weeks ago they were reviewing my case, so which is the truth, and then after looking for this company online, and never finding it i read in another complaint here that he was given a different address but the same phone number, that only leads me to believe this is all a scam to take money from people who already have financial difficulties and causing them to lose their homes, something needs to be done to stop this before it happens to someone else
