Eli Berkowitz, Serial liar and CON MAN. We were flat out ripped off

What a nightmare. We stupidly paid in full for our wedding photos and album. Its over a year later and we have nothing to show for it. Eli Allen (actually his real name is Eli Berkowitz but he uses a fake name for business) promised us that our wedding albums would be ready 6-8 weeks after our wedding. It's now almost a year and a half and Eli has run off with our money. He rarely returns phone calls. Occasionally we'll get an email insisting that our albums are coming. At this point, it's comical that he keeps insisting our albums are still coming. They are not coming. We discovered others that he has been telling the same thing. "The albums are coming"- he tells them. They have nothing (and their wedding was before ours!). Just check out the Internet and see how many others he has scammed.

Once you discover that you have been conned, Eli plays the down on his luck guy and cites a host of family problems as to why he couldn't deliver your albums. He insists that it's "not a money issue" when you ask for your money back. He will tell you that he's sending you money but of course, the money never shows up. When you follow up, he insists the check was lost in the mail. Bottom line, this guy has been trying for about a year to send us money but somehow the check keeps getting lost. When you tell him to send it FedEx so it can be tracked, he will say that another one of his employees sent it in the mail and he is very upset about that. The check is never coming and neither are the albums.
