AT&T Attempt to charge fees to do their job

I have been a customer with AT&T wireless for over 7 years. They constantly send me e-mails asking me to set my account on auto pay. When I was speaking with one of their "NON ENGLISH SPEAKING' representatives, to pay my bill, he asked again. So I agreed to try it. I gave him the information to autdraft. He repeated it back to me and had some of the numbers wrong. I corrected him. Once he repeated it correctly I agreed to it. The first time they drafted, they attempted to draft from the wrong account. As soon as I saw they did not draft my I called them and they gave me the information they had, which was wrong. I explained that to them and gave them the correct information to pay the account with a debit card and they decided because THEY are too INCOMPETENT to take the correct information down, that I can only pay my account with cash in the store. They expect me to take time off of my job, bring them cash and then they want to charge me $5.00 for them to take a payment. I thought a CSR's job was to give customer Service. If I treated customers that way where I worked, I would BE FIRED!!! I ended up paying through the automated machine and they took 4 hours to update my account and restore my service. I tried to explaint to the "Non English Speaking" CSR's on the 800 phone line that I had a receipt, and I gave them the receipt number. But the only solution they had was for me to leave work again and go back to the store, pay the $5 fee to have a CSR update the account. I explained that they could take a Debit Card Payment and that once it was processed, it could not be "backed Out" as they said the autodraft they attempted to take out of the wrong account was done. ANYBODY searching for a cell phone company... Try anybody but at&t. Or be prepared to pay extra for incompentent CUSTOMER SERVICE...
