In February I signed a 2 year contract with Sprint. For the most part was happy with service until November when I received a bill for outrageous overages. My life has always been the same, everyday, and never over on minutes and always paid my bill on-time! I lost my job in September and money was very limited. Sprint could only say "sorry" but I have to pay it. The same happened in December. When I received that bill in January I stopped using my phone. I contested many numbers I did not recognize and filled out paperwork on Sprint's website, never to be seen again. I contacted Sprint about a payment arrangement only to have them tell me, "SPRINT DOES NOT TAKE PAYMENTS, I HAVE TO PAY IT IN FULL!" I explained my financial situation and told Sprint I am making an attempt to pay it and wanted to pay it however I did not have at my disposal the money to pay in full, I just needed a little time. There response?"your account will be turned over to a collection agency!". Today I received a letter stating they were going to forward my account to collection if not paid in full by March 9. I have been just shy of eating dogfood to survive and it is imperative to Sprint that they send my account to a collection agency, ruin my credit. I have been told my whole life if you have a financial obligation and cant meet it, contact the company and they will always work with you. NOT SPRINT!!! My contract was up in February and I did not renew as I do owe them money and I can not afford the bill until I find employment. I would, in my opinion, never recommend sprint to anyone, ever. Terrible customer service and they are not customer orientated.
