GI Toys sells returns and defective merchandise as new and won't warranty their items

Airsoft GI sold me what appears to be a returned or used item as new. Item was received broken and non functional. When attempted to exchange the item, I was denied because the item's orange flash hider was removed even though it was received broken in that way.
