Ripoff Takes in your animals and then pretends they were sick and die

If you find a stray animal or are unable to care for yours anymore, PLEASE DO NOT take them to Orphans of the Storm!

I've had 2 bad experiences with them. Several years ago, the shelter was allowed to euthanize animals if they weren't adopted within a certain time period. Now they have to keep ALL of the animals regardless.
I had a healthy female cat named Callie who ran away after we had moved. A few weeks later I saw a "FOUND" poster in the post office and it was my cat. I called the number and they said they had taken Callie to the shelter just two days prior to me calling.

I called Orphans to ask if I could take a look at the cat to verify that it was mine and they said it wasn't possible because she died the night she was brought in.
Now I know this isn't possible because I know the people who were taking care of her and they took very good care of her, gave her food and water and let her sleep inside. Being very hurt and angry by all of this, I had a friend phone the shelter and ask if they would take a cat. The shelter told her NO, they weren't accepting animals anymore because they were full and they couldn't afford anymore.

Now what the hell is wrong with this? Just because you don't have room for a cat anymore doesn't mean you kill them. My cat wasn't a stray, I had her for 2 years and now, I don't have her anymore because Orphans of the Storm killed my CAT!
