Protection Plan scam

When paying some electronic devices at the register, Staples employees started selling me the protection plan and telling me how great the plan is. I would get full refund if Staples is not able to replace the item in the future.instead of getting full refund, Staples issues a cash card which can't even be used online.
Don't waste your money on those protection plan. Never ever trust words coming out of the sales people.
