Completely inept, dishonest, and illiterate ripoff

My troubles began about a year after my wife and I moved into our new house. I spotted a rodent outside crossing into my neighbor's yard. I immediately called Orkin and set up an appointment the next day.

The technician came out and inspected, and sure enough they had gotten into my crawl space and garage. The tech set traps and said he would return in a week. The outside and garage traps were both filled that very night. I emptied and reset them my self. One week goes by and no tech shows. After two more weeks, I phoned to see what was going on, and I was informed that the tech I had got fired. Somehow, they must have thought it was my responsibility to call weekly to ensure my tech wasn't fired and I wasn't forgot about. Who Knew!

Things just got worse from here. The new tech was just that... New. He had just graduated and admitted he did not like going in crawl spaces searching for rodents.

Anyhow, he would go down, empty traps, and try to get out to the next job fast. I had mentioned that I noticed rodents trying to get in back of the water heater. He checked under the crawl space, and in fact found a hole the contractors left. He claimed he would patch it, and my problems in the crawl space would end.

Subsequently, he came 4 times, each time claiming he had forgotten the equipment to patch the hole. Finally, after a call to the manager, he came out a patched the hole.
The problem slowed down, but still persisted. Also, another problem began to arise again. I left very straightforward instructions..."Please call at least one day in advance, so someone would be home". This message was even printed on the computer receipt they leave at your door. They actually had the audacity to leave a receipt for service on my door, which stated they had come to do the service, but no one was home. The actual receipt says "RODENTS CALL NIGHT B4 TO ARRANGE TIME 1-4-03" in the notes section.

I have talked to managers, their bosses, the techs, and they are very polite, but just give you lip service with no action. Several times the guy doesn't show for two months, and then they bill you. You complain, and they only remove 1 of the two months. Their accounting is as inept as their pest control.
I could go on further about their exploits, but I think anyone reading this has already got the point.
