Went to purchase a pack of cigarettes and a Pespi, my drivers license was expired, however I am 46 years old which is stated on the license along with a picture. I was unable to purchase a pack of cigarettes but I could purchase my Pespi. I would like to know why the store policy will not allow the purchasing of a pack of cigarettes but can sell the Pespi. No one was rude it is just a policy which I don't understand. Do I need to carry my birth certificate, so am I forced to purchase an ID from the state? I have been unable to take off from work to go to the license dept. To get a new license there hours are available when I am off from work. I need to take a vacation day which I cannot until next month. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion.
