ST Imports Promised and didn't deliver

We placed an order with this company for over 9000 jackets. The deposit was requested at 50% up front, which is normal for overseas production. Then as we progressed, more money was requested. We paid them in excess of $100,000 but have not gotten the goods promised.

This order was placed in May with a promised delivery date at the end of July. Time after time, Alfredo Lavieri gave different dates for delivery and each time the jackets did not come, he made excuses on why they did not get delivered.

We have pending legal action against him and got a court order for delivery of the jackets which he again promised and has not delivered as of January 5. We have found 5-6 other companies with the same issues we have (taking money up front for an order and not delivering) and have found 3 court judgements against Tati & Company or his previous companies.

The FBI in South Carolina has an on-going investigation of Alberto Lavieri and his company. We are just one of 7-8 companies who have filed complaints against him.
