Aka Nick's Discount TV And Appliances ripoff, promised merchandise and did not deliver, will not refund monies

Purchased high-end appliances during construction project of kitchen addition/renovation. Made downpayment for order. At time of order, we requested delivery in four months (due to construction). When deliver time arrived, promised delivery in three days. No delivery made.

After missing first date, promised no less than three other dates, all of which resulted in no merchandise. Found out that merchandise was never ordered when downpayment made four months ago. Promised numerous favors, rush orders, rush deliveries and special handling. At least ten other promises for firm delivery dates missed. Received refund of part of money. Still no goods delivered.

Will not return remainder of balance ($1000). Will not return phone calls or letters. Now read in the paper that they filed for bankruptcy. Do not make any up-front payments to this store. Better yet, don't buy anything from them.
