Rick Masonrips his neighbors off while his kidsgo to the local public schools and play with our kids. He continues to sign up work that he does not complete or ruins and will not repair. Beware, he will not respond to your messages when you try to call or e-mail him to find out when he will be back to your home to finish the work or repair what he damamged. If he does respond, he will 100% lie to you - pretty scary how well he does it.

He agreed to paint my house. I had vinyl siding which can be painted must be treated differentlythan wood. Rick the "I have been in the contracting business for 20 years" contractor should know that Primer is needed. Do you think that is asking too much? I knew that primer was needed! 20 flipping years and he does not know this? He purchased the paint and no primier.

Had one of his workers paint the house but every day told me " I will do the trim, I will do the difficult area's, I will take the lead." What a bunch of bull - he is so lazy and ripping so many people off at the same time that he did not touch the house.

Finished the job and the house looked OK until the 100 degree days hit in August and the vinyl started to warp and melt. Yes - my house was melting because the 20 year professional did not know to paint with primer first. Day by day the siding warped, bent and melted. At first he denied it but then admitted that primer was not used.

He answered my calls a few times at firstand promised to replace the siding that melted and warped. After 10 calls and him not showing up (he lies remember) I called him one last time. He answered his cell phone (watch out though - he typically will not as so many people are calling him because he ripped them off.) I asked him where he was and immediately he stated - "I am picking up your new siding." Wow - he is good, isn't he? I told him he was full of crap (stronger word used with him) and he then admitted he did not have the new siding, didn't even order it, had no intention what so ever to repair the damage done.

He ripped off my neighbor also. (That is how I hired him.) He did not blow them off and rip them off until my job was finished. He times these things very well.

I want the people of Colorado to be aware of him. He was listed on the BBB and other sites but because his kids go to school in the area and he is known, my neighbor did notthink he would do this and did not check these sites. We got burned as did many other people in the area.

Don't listen to what he says about his experience, faith, workmanship, etc. He will quote faith verses, brag, offer to do more...

Please - don't use him for your home remodeling needs. Go to the BBB web site and find a contractor in good standing. It is worth it.
