I recently bought a Sprint HTC EVO and it worked great for three weeks. However, just before the return period it started to have trouble synching email. Technical support was not able to solve the problem. Google is full of this problem. I had the be 4,000 miles away from the sprint store and had no way to return the phone during the 30 days, however I did document this well known issue with the call center.

My four hundred dollar per month bill for nearly ten years mayl be moving to another carrier. I asked for a simple extension to give them time to fix their problem.

Their answer was No way. Of coursereasonable restrictions musty apply but when companies are have zero flexbility, don't be surprised if word spreads and future referrals stop and if another vendor offers a similar service customers could vote with your feet.

My suggestion. No matter what don't trust Sprint to be reasonable. They will go by the letter without regard for circumstances, such as it was a sprint mistake, being 4,000 miles away, or documenting the problem with three hours on the phone with Sprint.

Although I only asked for an extension, not even money back, they were not willin to budge from policy. I suppose when you get too big it is hard to look on a case by case basis.
