Jerod Raisch Installed a bad roof then after months of back and forth ended with the owner Jerod Raisch telling me he should have paid my 6 year old daughter!

These guys put a roof on my house in 08 in the summer. The day they did the work, it was 98 degrees out and the workers used no precautions or protocol in protecting the new shingles. Thus what entailed was a grey roof with so many tar marks, scrapes by tools and boots, and fiberglass just showing. This was the beginning, I have had 3 contractors out and all had said, wow, what an easy roof to totally screw up, these guys suck. Bad quality and even worse customer service by the owner Jared himself. Not only did they screw up the shingles, they put on used shingles, one specifically with a half circle cut out like they had cut it for one of the exaust vents and re used it, hundreds of nail pops, improperly installed shingles around vents and chimney cap with adhesive and missing nails to attach them.

They never hand tabbed anything that they fixed, which was one spot, and did not address any other areas. They ran tar down my valley which is about 15 feet long, only 12 inches and stopped. They fought me for 2 months, sending their crew at 5 pm initially to fix about 6 hours of work, I should have told them to replace the entire thing, but still would be in the same position. They also verbally told me that it would cost 3900 and 2 months later even when they had not addressed the problem they invoiced me for 4800 and change. The customer service I got was ignored phone calls and blaming me for their shoddy work. I paid them 3000 and refused to pay until I was happy with the work.

The last straw of many was when the owner Jarod Raisch showed up with his salesman that I was dealing with, he basically told me that I did all the damage and that he was not willing to fix what I wanted him to address, and because I with held the last payment and told him many different reasons including... I spent it, he proceeded to tell me that he A grown man should have paid my six year old daughter, huh??? Yep!!! Totally unprofessional and a bit pediophilic in my mind... Asshole... So now on this last Halloween I was given a summons that he was taking me to court for the remaining balance. I am going to file my answer tomorrow and have been in talks with my lawyer about counter suing them to the fullest, they put on a roof that will need to be re-roofed in 4 to 4 years (great) and crushed in my driveway with their removal truck with about ten old roofs in it. And said inappropriate comments to my daughter... People like this guy should be only able to suck gravel...
