Roof leaks

Please don't buy a home from meadows homes and don't even look at Southern homes as an option. My home is approximately 2 years old and the roof is leaking. The shingles have a 20 year warranty on them. Meadows has a one year warranty on their work and so does southern. Neither will claim responsibility for the roof leaking. I have to prove the shingles were installed incorrectly or faulty to use the shingle warranty. I was told by southern that I have to seal all of my vents every year on the roof. (if sealed properly the vents would not leak in 10 years much less in 2 years time). Neither of these companies will stand behind their workmanship. I would not buy a dog house from either of them.
