As an exemployee and wife to an ex-employee, I want to give the world some BAD news about a certain company. TRC Services, Timberoof in Houston TX, Dalworth in Dallas TX, Midwest Cedar Timberoof in Burnsville MN, Roofs Inc.in Omaha NE, & Pride Renovations/Roofing in Chicago IL. And an office in New Orleans that mysteriously burned to the ground.

If this list looks suspiscious, KUDOS to you, you pegged them right! Just check out the BBB reports for Timberoof (who was kicked off) and Pride Renovations/Roofing (who has a crappy report)!

This company and it's affiliates are 'pulling the wool over your eyes.' Homeowners that may be enticed by their offer; beware! Their salesmen come knocking on your door and offer you a free roof, it's not free you have to pay your deductible! Technically, since your insurance company takes the deductible from the total estimate of damages and it's your choice whether to fix it or not. It's your policy (you're paying the premium) your roof and your choice!

They send a saleman (1099 contractor, most whom are not licensed) to sign you up, they meet with the adjuster and finaggle him into buying the roof. They use a lot of backwards talking to make the adjuster trip up! The total your insurance company estimates for damaged property is twice what it costs to fix it! So say the insurance estimates loss at $10,000. The salesman makes 10% of half of that! ($500) The owner retains the $4,500 leftover!

If for any reason the employee questions the job cost or commission, they are told cost sheets are confidential (only to the employee) and that if they don't trust the process - to quit! First off there are so many verbal agreements that come from the owner's mouth (he's full of *$#@) that it's hard to say what will bite you in the butt later? Great motto, if it's not on paper, tell them to go *@#$ themselves.

Here's a short story: the last couple of phrases is where my husband sits! He worked for said company for over two years, made the owner a crap load of money and now "supposedly" he owes the company money!

If you're not already disgusted with this companies procedures and employee treatment, read on, it get's better!

When an employee leaves the company, any commission owed to the employee is forfeit. If that employee leaves the company with a debt owed, the relinquished funds don't pay off that debt! These funds go into the owner's pocket via a check to himself! (Does this sound like embezzlement to you?)

But wait, it doesn't stop there!

Any debts that are left by employees that quit, is also written off as a tax loss! (Does this sound like tax fraud?)

I just want to get the word out to people who may be interacting with representatives from any of these companies. This is how they work. The owner is out to make money for himself, no one else. He's not there to help you recover damages to your property! Please beware of this horrid company and it's employees because they are desperate!
