Fraud Credit Card Scam

Shadowshopper.com has sent an email talking about a 1 week free trial for their services. Upon arriving at the upgrade center, you are required to input your credit card, or pay with paypal but still you need to input a credit card.
I talked with the company about this and they said they need your credit card because if you forget to unsubscribe, they charge you over $30. I asked if they notified customers to cancel their free week, but they never answered that question.
I am reporting them because they charge you if you forget to cancel you free subscription to their services, without prior notifying you.
As well, on the website, you have to dig deep into their terms and conditions in the fine print to locate this "scam."
