Taste Of Home Magazine Fraudulent Subscription Mailings

Over a year ago, my mom purchased a 1-yr gift subscription for me from Taste Of Home cooking magazine. She never notified me. A few months ago she asked me if I wanted it renewed, as they were sending her multiple inquiries.

I told her I had no idea what she was referring to. I never received any such magazine. She sent them a letter and never heard a response. When they again sent her a letter, they had the time to update my address on their request to send them more money, but never acknowledged they sent, as it turned out, the subscriptions to a non-existing address.

They made a typo in data entry when entering the subscription, and billing her credit card sufficiently. Kept her money, Never responded to her letter. I sent an email follow up. They now email me constantly, are sending me subscription offers, and still have not refunded her money, nor made any attempt to contact either of us to remedy their error. They still have her money.

If this isn't corrected I'm filing a consumer complaint with the Wisconsin AGO and the Iowa Attorney Generals office.
