They lied about their ability to provide a magazine subscription and have held our money for months. Ripoff

We were contacted by mail by Magazine Billing Center, Inc. Telling us that our subscription to Western Horseman Magazine was about to expire, which it was. They implied that they were agents working in behalf of the magazine and would process our renewal.

They offered a good price on a three-year subscription extension to Western Horseman Magazine. We initiated a three-year subscription extension to the magazine through them and began monitoring the subscription end date on the labels of the magazines we were receiving.

When the end date did not reflect the extension, we called the Magazine Billing Center. They told us not to worry. It can take few months to process, but the subscription would be validated.

After another month, we called Western Horseman Magazine to confirm that they had received the subscription request through the Magazine Billing Center. They informed us that the Magazine Billing Center is not a recognized subscription agent.

We called Magazine Billing Center, Inc. They told us that they do not do business with Western Horseman. We asked for our money back plus interest for the months that they had held it. Their representative, Tom, very rudely refused the request for interest payment and implied that the money would be refunded at some point. He declined to indicate how or when and immediately hung up the phone.
