Lured me into switching to them with worthless Visa card

WE are so angry with TXU that we plan to not only have our legal counsel contact them, but we plan to lodge a complaint with PUCT, the Texas Attorney General's office, the BBB, the local news media, and relevant internet blogs. The way they have handled this "bonus prepaid Visa card" is despicable, embarrassing and borderline fraud. We signed up with TXU to get a little cheaper rate, and the card was our avenue to pay off the penalty we incurred with our former electric company for terminating early. It took us three weeks of embarrassment, trying unsuccessfully to use the card in restaurants, Walmarts (holding up long lines), gas stations, etc. To finally have to inquire ourselves to find out that the card was worthless. We didn't even get a letter explaining the situation until a month after the card was useless. Now, it has been 2.5 months, and we finally get a letter, saying that they will send us a check for the balance left on the card. We, on the other hand have been faithful to pay our electric bill on time and in full.
We demand some monetary consideration over and above the check for the card balance, which we still haven't received. When we tried to discuss this issue with one of the supervisors, he hung up on us.
We would also like to be allowed to terminate our service with TXU without any penalty.
Shame on them!!!
