Tri-State windows, siding and roofing Didn't show up for a scheduled consultation and lied

We called this company to get their advertised in-home consultation for windows prices for our home. We were scheduled for a Fri. Evening appt. At 6:30 pm. Around 6:00 we found a phone number on our caller-id and assumed it was them as the area code was the same. They left no message so we redialed the number. The salesman answered and said he was so terribly sorry for not getting to our place but he had hit a deer and couldn't drive his 43K car so had to reschedule. He kept apologizing over and over. We kindly rescheduled for the next eve. Sat. At 7:00. My husband even called him back to see if this would be pressuring him to get here the next evening. He said, "no, I'll be there at 7:00".
Sat. Evening came and I'd hurried home from shopping and put off supper till after he left. We waited until 8:15 and he never showed or called us. The next day I emailed the company for a explanation and didn't get a reply. So I emailed them again and still no reply. I did report them to the BBB because they are members and I thought this needed to be reported. He was apparently lieing about hitting the deer on Fri. Night and just didn't show on Sat..
There was nothing he could have found about us to persuade his business such as bad credit, etc. They just didn't want to drive to Cedar Rapids but their ad says they will travel this far, about a hour drive. Very unprofessional!!
