Charged a cancellation fee and threatened to charge more

I contacted in July Metro Van Lines regarding a move for the end of August. Their price seemed very reasonable, so I put a deposit down. However, once I got other quotes I became concerned at the low amount. I did a bit of researching and found that they low ball you to hook you and then charge you at the end.

I contacted them, a month prior to my move to cancel. The customer service representative was very nasty. She told me I would not get my deposit back and that she was inclined to charge me an additional fee. I told her if that was the way she handled things, I am glad I am not going with her company. I will have to watch my credit card statement.
