Many addresses Loan Modification Ripoff Artist Needed To Be Reported TO Attorney General or FBI

Hays & Associates were paid a total of $2995.00 with the promise they would complete a loan modification through BOA in August. To date they have not completed any loan modification, they have failed to submitt our paperwork and financials to BOA (per BOA). Hays hides behind a so called attorney however we have never spoken to the attorney. When we finally called BOA they had no record of any loan modification request until March. Hays & Associates kept stating for many months that BOA has assigned a negoatior when in fact this was news to BOA as they never assigned any negoatior and didn't even have any paperwork from anyone on any loan modification. Hays & Associates has a web site where clients can see what is going on with their loan modification, www.mylegalcases.com. What caught our attention there might be a problem was on this web site there was information about someones loan modification and it was not us. They also can't keep client case numbers straight. One email we received addressed us as Joan Crawford. Now we are not Joan Crawford, nor is our last name anything like this. I started calling daily insisting they tell me just what was going on and they only got rude. I finally got smart and called BOA. We sent a certified letter requesting refund and terminating their services. Hays & Associates tries to bully you into not cancelling, stating they record every phone call, and just really tried to intimidate us. Then we get a phone call and email from a Peter Perterson who stated the actual attorney Thomas P. Hays wanted to set up a conference call pertaining to our refund. At this point I stated in an email to him that I didn't want to talk to the attorney until we sought legal advise here in MO. I also asked for the address and was given yet another address. We did seek legal advise and were told we had been ripped off. I don't have money to pay an attorney here in MO to fight getting my refund back. We have reported this to the Attorney General in CA, filed a BBB report (of which they never answered) and now making this report and am filing a complaint with the CA Bar Association.
This company has multiple addresses, multiple phone numbers and emails. Beware of this company, they take your money and just sling a bunch of bull for months. They hide behind the fact an attorney owns and is supposed to work for you. They have no intentions of refunding any money. The only time you will talk to an attorney is when you want a refund. They will take your money and you will not get any loan modification. These people need to be shut down.
Take the governments advise and never pay for any loan modification company to do what you can do for free!
