Would not honor home warranty contract and fix air conditioning unit

I purchased a home warranty from AHS. I have had it for seven years. My AC unit broke down. They refuse to honor the warranty. They say it has not been maintained. I have had the unit maintained twice a year every year. I sent them the receipt from the maintenance company. They still refuse to honor the warranty. I am a 78 year old male. It is over 98 degrees in Florida. My home is hot and I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace the unit. That is why I purchased the home warranty. They refuse to even work out the situation.
